Q. What happens at a wedding consultation? 

A. Great question! Generally, these meetings take from 30-45 minutes and are a great opportunity for my clients and I to meet and get to know one another before the big day. We will discuss your style, talk about specific shots you may want, your timeline for the day, and what package and details are right for you.

Q. Why should I hire you? 

A. Your wedding photos are a big investment, so you should be sure you're getting the right person for the job. Every photographer brings their own flare to capturing the moments that matter most to you, but in the end, you decide if it's the right fit for your day. I am personable, flexible, and love working with my clients to create an album that reflects their style and emotion.

Q. Do you have a lighting setup? 

A. I prefer to use natural lighting whenever possible. I do keep an external flash and a variety of low-light lenses on hand to make sure I get every detail of your reception after dark. In addition, I travel with backup equipment in case of an emergency.  

Q. How long will it take for me to get my photos?

A. For weddings, I typically have a turnaround of about a month, while portrait sessions and engagements take around a week. Quality time spent culling through the best photos and creating a truly beautiful product is what makes your album unique. 

Q. When did you start taking photos? 

A. Please see my about page for more information, but in a nutshell, I've been taking photos since I can remember. More recently, I transitioned from film to digital in college and have been photographing weddings and portraits for 11 years. 

Q. Will my photos be available online for family and friends to view? 

A. Yes! Along with copyright release and printing rights, you will receive a password to a private gallery that can be shared with friends and family.

Q. Do you have a post-wedding shoot option for couples? 

A. I do, in fact many couples love to take advantage of an after-shoot to take photos in a location different from their ceremony or reception site. This is also a great option if your timeline is strict on the day of your wedding. Please see my pricing page for packages and availability.
